I haven't been drawing as much as I'd wanted to be this summer (mostly for lack of inspiration), so when I finally came across an idea, I decided to draw it.

I decided that I wanted to try a new coloring style, so I had to draw something first, this is the product of that.

I haven't drawn Sailor Pluto for years (I think I was 12 or younger the last time...), so I figured I should give it a try.

Normally, I don't draw anything facing head-on (because I hate drawing faces at that angle, I prefer 3/4 view), so this is a bit of a leap for me. I can honestly say that the Garnet Orb and staff were the easiest part of this drawing for me. It's not as scary as it looks.

I fully intend to make a colored version of this. If it comes out looking good enough, I'll post it. However, it will likely be resized (and so will everything after it), because this massive thing is about 3000 pixels in both directions, and I don't want to work that large anymore.

Drawn with mechanical pencil on regular white paper.
